Google Sheets Integration

The Google Sheets Integration in Timus Manager allows you to automatically export user and device session data—such as sign-in and sign-out events—into a connected Google Sheet. This integration helps teams maintain centralized audit logs, feed external dashboards, or simplify compliance reporting without manual exports.

What This Integration Enables

  • Automatically export session data (sign-ins, sign-outs) to a Google Sheet
  • Maintain a live, append-only activity log
  • Use exported data for audits, reporting, or third-party workflows
  • Eliminate the need for manual CSV exports or scripting

Requirements

Before enabling the integration:

  • Sign in to the correct Google account with Sheets access
  • Ensure your browser allows pop-ups
  • Confirm that your admin role includes integration permissions

Start the Authorization Flow

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations in Timus Manager
  2. Locate the Google Sheets card
  3. Click ⚙️ → Manage
  4. Click Authorize to begin the sync process

This opens a secure Google OAuth window to link your account.

Grant Access

In the OAuth window:

  1. Select the Google account you want to connect
  2. Grant permission to allow Timus to write session data to your Google Sheets

Note: Timus uses OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication. Your password is never stored. Only a scoped token is retained for writing to Sheets.

How the Integration Works

Once connected:

  • Timus starts sending session events (sign-in, sign-out) to your Google Sheet
  • New entries are automatically appended in real time
  • Data includes timestamps, user info, device names, and associated sites or gateways
  • Integration can be monitored or disabled anytime under Settings → Integrations

All data exports respect user-level access permissions and organization-wide privacy policies.

Disable the Integration

To stop syncing:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations
  2. Click ⚙️ → Disable on the Google Sheets card
  3. The connection will be deactivated, but any existing data in your Google Sheet will remain untouched

🔐 Security & Privacy

  • OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored securely
  • You retain full ownership and control over the target spreadsheet
  • Timus only appends data—it does not modify or delete any rows
  • You can revoke integration access at any time
