The Slack Integration in Timus Manager allows you to receive real-time notifications about users, devices, security alerts, and other critical events directly in your Slack workspace. This helps teams stay informed and respond quickly to incidents within their Timus-managed environment.

What This Integration Enables

• Deliver Timus alerts to a designated Slack channel
• Receive notifications about user sign-ins, posture check violations, or system warnings
• Improve operational awareness and enhance team collaboration

Enable Slack Integration

1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Slack
2. Click ⚙️ → Manage
3. You’ll be redirected to the Slack authorization screen

Authorize Timus in Slack

1. On the Slack screen that opens:
   • Sign in to your Slack workspace (if not already signed in)
   • Select the channel where Timus should post alerts
   • Click Allow to complete the authorization
2. After approval, you'll be redirected back to Timus Manager, where the integration will appear as active

You can reauthorize the integration at any time to change the target Slack channel.

Once active:

• Timus will begin sending supported alerts to your selected Slack channel
• Notifications will include the event type, user or device details, and a timestamp
• Use this integration to stay informed about security policy breaches, user events, or system health
