The Timus Connect App for iOS ensures secure, encrypted access to your organization's network via the Timus Platform. This guide walks you through downloading, installing, and configuring the app for iOS devices.
Getting Started with Timus Connect

Download and Install:
- Download the Timus Connect App from Timus Downloads.
- Administrators can download the app from Timus Manager → Settings → Downloads.
- Ensure your system runs on iOS 14 or higher.
- Download the Timus Connect App from Timus Downloads.

First Launch:
- Launch the app and agree to the End User License Agreement (EULA).
- Enter your email address linked to your Timus account.
- Select a network (if only one is available, it will be auto-selected).
- Enter your password and click Sign In.
📌 If your account is integrated with a directory service like Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or Google Workspace, you will be redirected to the service's login page.
📌 Organizations with multi-factor authentication (MFA) may require additional verification steps.
Establishing a Connection
The Connection menu is your gateway to secure networking. Follow these steps:

Choose a Gateway:
- Select a gateway from the dropdown list, or use the Select Fastest option to connect to the optimal gateway based on traffic latency.
The gateway with the lowest round-trip time ensures the fastest connection.

Connect:
- Click Connect and wait for the status to update. You'll see the following details:
- Connected Network
- Connected Gateway
- Private IP and Public IP

Disconnect:
- To end the connection, click Disconnect.
⚠️ You may be prompted with a permission request for the Timus Connect App. Tap Allow to proceed. Denying permission will prevent the app from connecting to gateways.
Customizing Settings
Navigate to the Settings menu to tailor your VPN experience:
- Protocol Selection: Choose between WireGuard or OpenVPN based on administrator configuration.
- Manage Account: Update your password, or install security certificates.

The Support menu provides essential tools for troubleshooting and additional configurations:
