API enhancements Answered

We would like the ability to interface with the Timus Manager much more extensively.  Below are all the functions we would like to have access to via API.  The ability for us to integrate withe the Timus Manager for each of our clients would be a significant enhancement for us.  

 

Users & Teams -
 - Users - Create / Modify / Disable (Disable is planned this summer)
 - Teams - Create / Modify / Disable Teams and membership
 - Password Policies - Edit
 - Agent Profiles - Create / Modify
 
 
Devices -
 - View Posture Details
 - View Details
 - Drop Connection (Already planned this summer)
 - Disable?
 
 
Sites -
 - Get current stats / throughput
 - Get current status of each site / IPSEC tunnel
 - Get the number of online devices with details
 
Rules 
 - Firewall - view firewall rules / modify firewall rules / create firewall rules / disable firewall rules / delete firewall rules
 - Forwarding - view forwarding rules / modify forwarding rule / create forwarding rule / delete forwarding rule
 - Website Categories - view categories / Modify Whitelist / create new categories
  
Zero Trust Security
 - Behaviors - Create Behavior
 - Device Posture Checks - Create New / Modify / Delete
 - User Sign-In Policies - Create New / Modify / Delete

    API Access to Timus Manager – Engineering Update

    Thank you for sharing your detailed API integration wishlist—this is exactly the type of feedback that helps us prioritize future development. Below is a breakdown of what's currently planned and what’s not on the roadmap for this year:

    ✅ Planned for Summer (June/July):

    • Users: Disable (deactivate) user API
    • Devices: Drop device connection API (currently available for users, extending to devices soon)

    🕒 Not Planned for 2025 (at this time): Users & Teams:

    • Create/modify users
    • Create/modify/disable teams and team membership
    • Edit password policies
    • Create/modify agent profiles

    Devices:

    • View posture details
    • View device details
    • Disable device

    Sites:

    • Fetch site stats or throughput
    • Get IPsec tunnel status
    • List online devices with detail

    Rules Management:

    • Firewall rule management (view, create, modify, disable, delete)
    • Forwarding rule management (view, create, modify, delete)
    • Website category control (view categories, whitelist editing, new category creation)

    Zero Trust Security:

    • Behavior creation
    • Device posture check configuration
    • User/Admin sign-in policy management

    We appreciate your interest in deeper API access and are actively tracking requests like this to help shape our roadmap. While not all items are currently planned, your input plays a key role in prioritizing future enhancements.

    I don't see a partner-level API.  We'd really like to be able to use the API to create a new customer/tenant and configure all the baseline settings (so a large expansion on what can be managed via the API at the tenant level), as well as access subscription and billing information for each tenant from the partner level.

    Update - most of this will be implemented with Adaptive ZTNA in Q4.  The rest will be addressed shortly after.
