Detailed Messaging for Device posture check failures. Completed

Nik Collins

More detailed error messaging for device posture check failures: When a device fails the posture check, the current experience just says the device cannot connect, without providing details on what specifically failed (e.g. disk encryption not enabled).

Thanks for the suggestion! I wanted to share that this is already supported in Timus via Adaptive ZTNA (Beta).

After you configure your Device Posture Check policies (Beta), you can use them as a condition in Detectors. If you set a Detector to monitor when a posture check fails during an ongoing session, you can attach a Responder with the “Send In-app Notification” action to surface the specific failure reason to the user along with next steps.

For step-by-step guidance, please refer to the Detectors & Responders (Beta) Configuration Guide.
