Configurable "Productivity Tracker" Modes for Agent Profiles
More granular control over the Productivity Tracker within the Agent Profile settings.
The Problem
The current "always track" behavior is problematic for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) users. Tracking activity when a user is disconnected or off the clock is a significant privacy concern.
The Request
Iād like to see a "Tracking Mode" toggle in the Agent Profile with the following options:
- Always Track: (Current behavior) Tracks even when the agent is disconnected.
- Track Only When Connected: Tracking is active only when the Timus Agent is connected to the service.
- Track When Connected or in Trusted Network: Tracking is active during a connection OR when the device detects it is within a "Trusted Network."
Why This Matters
- Privacy Compliance: Ensures we only monitor activity during work-related sessions.
- BYOD Compatibility: Users are much more likely to install the agent on personal devices if they know tracking stops when they disconnect.
- Data Accuracy: Limits productivity data to actual working hours/contexts.

Another useful option would be to track based on a device posture (To be able to scope only non BYOD devices)
